Connecting to the world

It was more than we could have hoped for! First they gave themselves to the Lord; and then, by God’s will they gave themselves to us as well. (2Corinthians 8:5) Hebrews 10:25 tells us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, we are to encourage one another all the more, since you see that the Day of the Lord is coming nearer. So why is Fellowship so Important? You see you and I belong in God’s Family with other Believers. Galatians 6:10 So then, as often as we have the chance, we should do good to everyone, and especially to those who belong to our family in the faith. We are no longer as those who have no part or place in the kingdom of God, but we are numbered among the saints as the family of God. We resting on the base of the Apostles and prophets, and Jesus is the chief keystone, and He keeps all rightly joined together as the holy house of God.
